Salem Sisters

Our Salem Sisters are a diverse community with many offerings such as a Bible Study Group, Book Club, and Social Events. Below you will find more information regarding opportunities to get involved with the Salem Sisters.

Annual Women's Retreat: This is usually an overnight retreat in February. It is a good chance to fellowship with other women and disengage from the everyday to spend more time with God.

Bible Study: The group meets on Thursday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in Koinonia Fellowship Hall from September - May. During the summer, they plan to meet at a local restaurant once a month. Please contact Cheryl Padgett to find out the location and so she can order a book for you. (Call 913.488.1092 or e-mail cpadgett47@icloud.com.)

Book Club: Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Koinonia Conference Room.

Upcoming books are:

Aug. 15 -- "Trouble the Water" by Nicole Seitz

Sep. 19 -- "Proof" by Bill Bright and Jack Cavanaugh

Oct. 17 -- "The Noticer Returns" by Andy Andrews

Nov. 20 -- "Secrets of the Lighthouse" by Santa Montefiore (Note: this is a Monday)

Fellowship of the Vine (Social Events): Meets monthly; watch the website "Weekly Announcements" for upcoming events.

Salem Sister Circle Mission Statement:

To build relationships with other women, to discover, acknowledge and nurture individual God-given gifts, and to enjoy and support one another as we encounter God, grow in faith, and serve the world.
