Salem Sisters

Our Salem Sisters are a diverse community with many offerings such as a Bible Study Group, Book Club, and Social Events. Below you will find more information regarding opportunities to get involved with the Salem Sisters.

Annual Women's Retreat: This is usually an overnight retreat in February. It is a good chance to fellowship with other women and disengage from the everyday to spend more time with God.

Bible Study: The group meets on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Koinonia Fellowship Hall from September - May. Please contact Cheryl Padgett for more information at 913-488-1092 or e-mail cpadgett47@icloud.com.

Book Club: Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Koinonia Conference Room.

Upcoming books are:

Oct. 17 -- "The Noticer Returns" by Andy Andrews

Nov. 20 -- "Secrets of the Lighthouse" by Santa Montefiore (Note: this is a Monday)

Dec. 19 -- "The Christmas Shoppe" by Melody Carlson

Jan. 16 -- "The Mistletoe Secret" by Richard Paul Evans

Feb. 20 -- "Small Great Things" by Jodi Picoult

Fellowship of the Vine (Social Events): Meets monthly; watch the website "Weekly Announcements" for upcoming events.

Salem Sister Circle Mission Statement:

To build relationships with other women, to discover, acknowledge and nurture individual God-given gifts, and to enjoy and support one another as we encounter God, grow in faith, and serve the world.
